Drive development and design of a calender roll
One project by COMTEC Antriebstechnik GmbH was, for example, the development and design of drives for calender rolls in Korea.
The scope of the project included the design of the various drives and the use of different inverters to control the calender roller, the engraved roller, the hydraulic pumps and the hydraulic roller. For the correct control of the drives, several control cabinets were built and equipped with protective circuits, line and outlet filters and other electrical components.
A control panel was also used for control, visualization and monitoring.
Movable climatic chambers
for shock tests
In shock test systems, a product to be tested is moved from a high to a low temperature or vice versa in a short time.
For the implementation of such shock test systems, COMTEC Antriebstechnik has designed a movable spindle drive that is controlled by electric motors and converters. One of the challenges when planning this drive was the steep temperature gradient from -140°C to 200 °C. For the development of such drives, bearing tolerances, material properties, lubricant properties, electrical properties and more must be considered in particular.
By using spindle drives in combination with converter operation, it was possible to develop a very robust, efficient and precise positioning drive for the shock test systems.
Agitator conception
for dosing systems
COMTEC Antriebstechnik has designed geared motors with worm gears for the drive development of agitators for dosing systems. By using gear motors with worm gears, a particularly powerful, low-noise and shock-resistant drive was selected, which is predestined for mixing different viscous substances.
In order to guarantee a reliable and constant quality of the drives, a full test was implemented so that the customer can rely on a reliable, error-free drive that is immediately ready for use.
Storage chests
with linear drives
COMTEC Antriebstechnik has designed electric linear drives for the automatic opening and closing of chest doors.
By using electric linear drives, the storage chest doors can be opened and closed precisely and maintenance-free at different travel speeds.
